To Diana, Princess of Wales

Those bright blue eyes
Are shut forever,
But the gorgeous smile
Is still hanging on the lips,
The life that lived
Too short of a time,
As the spark of a diamond
In the midst of an eclipse.

Unforgettable thy hand
That touched so many
And a heart that felt
And read the mind
Of people who needed
Her so badly
For them she was
Always so kind.
A loss that never
Would fulfilled by others
A damage that us
To bear forever
Lets join our hands now
To make an oath
That we won’t forget her
Now and ever.
